Dreamweaver Help

I would ask Adobe but their customer service is a bottle of jiz. I am currently working on a site on Dreamweaver, with tables used to lay out sections of the site. I set an image to be a background of a particular cell of the table, but when I hit F12 to preview the page in IE, the image isn't there, and i'm left with the default background colour. I tested on a new page with a table and background image, hit F12, and it worked. Can anyone explain please? Many thanks.

It's setting the ROW background to be that image instead of the CELL background. IE can't handle that.

Firstly, don't use tables for layout.

Secondly, Dreamweaver uses relative paths, with works great when uploaded to the web, but messes up when viewed locally on your computer. Try uploading it and see if it works then.
