BST - # Fi-na-lly, it's happened... (etc) #

Oh sod it we have the debate every six/seven months so someone needs to start it.

Surely it's time to revise the whole sorry episode? GMT is a waste of daylight in the summer, and I hate the dark nights when it's in operation, however I actually see a case for it in December/January when daylight is at a premium.

Only in those two months though - our changes appear to be related to temparature, not daylight hours. If we'd put our clocks forward in February we'd have light till 6pm, like you would at the time of change at the end of October.

In these modern times, is it not time for a rethink?

Please respond, and all that.
