I'm trying to watch some episodes of shows on ABC.com but only residents in the United States are able to watch them. I've been told about something to do with the proxy to allow us Brits to view them, but as far as I know the proxy has nothing to do with it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to watch these videos on ABC.com? Thanks.

Don't know if the same trick'll work, but it used to be the case that no-one outside the US could access the Showtime network site. All you had to do was set up your browser to use an anonymous public proxy in the States and then you'd be able use the site fully. It might be the same with abc.com
