See the 06:00 main [female] presenter shifted to the newsdesk at 07:00 when the A team comes on and watch the sneers. See Kate Garraway sending death vibes to Fiona. See Penny Smith's simmering resentment. And rightly so in the latter case.

How the hell has Fiona Phillips retained that job for so long? A typical example of her journalistic prowess today, at the end of an interview with the foul Goody on her faux shame offensive: "You try and enjoy your day".

Indeed one Martin (TV-am) Frizzell, I think Fiona should have gone along time ago, saying that I gave up on GMTV a long time ago, I only watch it for the ITV Regional News, even then they like to insert stupid competitions in between with the chance of Keith Chegwin coming round with your prize.

I prefer BBC Breakfast, although sometimes that bores the living shit out of me, I'm just fortunate that when I work, most days I tend to be in at 7.00am, so I miss most of the drivel.
