The Fluoridation Debate

Posted: Tue 05 Dec, 2006 00.06
by Rob Del Monte
In some places, fluorosilicic acid is added to the mains water supply (and other things). Many say different things about it, and say things, including that fluoride can:
  • • Mix with plaque to prevent its damaging effect to teeth*;
    • Help prevent tooth decay*;
    • Cause dental fluorosis†;
    • Cause bone cancer†;
    • Cause osteoporosis†.
BUT . . . WHAT DO YOU THINK - Should this chemical be pumped into our water supply? Debate :-D . . ..

The use of interrobangs is not permitted on this site, because:

A) They don't appear on everyone's computer and show up as a meaningless square

B) I don't like them

C) I've said as much already.

That is all.

OK, I'll say it:

I've had it up to here with Rob Del Monte's fucking formatting, and he's clearly doing it deliberately, too. Please Gavin, could you tell Rob to write in a standard way - it's extremely unpleasant to read his posts with pointless italicising, careless spacing, nonsensical indents and weird footnote markings throughout.

There's a simple solution to that problem. I've done it and found it 100% effective.
