He is a pen name in order to bypass Israel's government control, he promotes some very unusual views on Middle Eastern politics.

Finally, I looked at the Obadiah's weblog. Considerably unusual. See, for instance, that article http://www.samsonblinded.com/blog/?p=200 . It is the entire mix there, starting at Judaism up to counterterrorism and US-Israeli happenings, even so a seriously provocative opinion. I can see why both the right and the left equally dislike the author. Part of what Shoher writes is ok, some is not , some just mustn't be written even though practiced. Interesting.
