As its now December I don't mind that its Christmas (rather than in October!) and as such I've put up a few decorations and a little £1 tree from £1world... So feeling in the festive mood, so I thought I'd ask you lot to post pics of your christmas setup.
Being at uni its a bit basic, but there is tinsel in the corridor outside as well, which I doubt will still be there after the weekend.

Someone nearby has a tree in their kitchen, as do another floor opposite us. We would be lucky to get a twig. I might decorate my room, but I can't see anyone else bothering to decorate the kitchen, especially if they can't tidy up after themselves either.

I must say hyma your uni accomodation is wonderfully aspies-standard in terms of tidyness.
Wander into Newcastle uni and things are quite different!

I think we'll put up ours next week - the start of December seems too soon for me.

I have some lovely LED lighting from last year, which I confess I left in place as it was easier than uninstalling.
Not got any pictures of the flat yet, but here's ones we installed in the centre of Edinburgh. Very purty.

Couldn't agree more. It's very 'council estate' to put your decs up early.

I'm putting mine up next week. I might be a bit bothered by then.

My sister had already put up the Christmas decs last month on the 25th. I don't know why she put them up early but the ceiling decorated looked lovely until my twisted little brother broke one of them.

That's the other problem with putting up Christmas decorations so early. By the time it's actually Christmas, they invariably look shit.
I'm always amused at the people you see going to buy real Christmas trees around now. By Christmas Day they'll have a nice, dry needle-free set of twigs with some fairy lights on.
