"Men need to earn about £50,000 a year before most women consider them to be wealthy and successful. One in ten women have higher expectations, looking for a salary of more than £100,000, according to National Savings and Investments (NS&I). In contrast, men think women on about £42,000 a year tick the wealthy and successful boxes.
However, in reality, men take home an average of £1,490.80 a month compared to women's £1,078.80.
Some 45% of women say they rate a healthy bank balance as their top priority when looking for a partner compared with 22% of men.
They also expect men to have a large stash of ready money to fall back on - £24,000 on average.
Men expect their partner to squirreled away about £15,000."

It gets harder and harder not to become more misogynistic every day.

Blimey. I'm just glad if he's got a pulse, or looks like he might have had one within the last 20 years.
I've always had high standards, me.

Quick shocking to read.
I honestly didn't beleive that there were women who chose ugly men because they have flash cars, but I am told it is true enough.
Money grabbing bitches, indeed.
Are gay men like this? I can't speak for "my people", but I suspect not.

Oh what aload of tosh!
I pay such little attention to surveys/polls like this. I can't be asked to click the link. How many people took part for them to come up with this result. I know i didn't and obviously Chinajan and Jenny didn't and if i asked a whole bunch of my girlfriends they'd all say they didn't partake in this survey. Well except 1 maybe but she'd do anything, nothing would surprise me with her.

I suppose those most likely to have an eye on someone else's bank balance are the ones least likely to have skills to earn their own money.
So actually I suppose there are lots of people like that around.

Totally off topic, but doesn't Ashley look like Stacey's new brother, who's joined EastEnders this week?

No! Don't say that, I don't need another "looky-likey" (how do you spell that word?).

I wouldn't say that was true of the ones I know, they more just see it as an easier path to gaining that wealth.
