Crosswords.

For the first time i've attempted the Times crossword, mainly because i'm bored. I've got a bit further than i expected, but there is a couple of clues i'd like some help with.
Firstly..12 D. -Indian;-football. It begins with an A.
also i'm have trouble with... 14 A. Lions' den surviver (6).. LUCKY is only 5 letters.

Is this the crossword on the back of the sport page? I can barely get a single clue right on that. I prefer the Times 2 one!
