I'm sure you've started this same thread before

What's the point of a 'divorce' - the sites are pretty separate as it is.

The Metropol community, such as it is, is almost exclusively made up of TVF users.

'General' forums are ten-a-penny.

The beauty of Metropol is that even though we talk about all kinds of shite, we (mostly) have a shared interest in TV presentation/design/branding etc.

Hear hear, I was first interested with TV presentation since I was about 3 years old.

James 'Mental' Martin only has three standard opening gambits for threads:

- when did you first know that you were gay?
- should Metropol declare UDI from TV Forum?
- some reactionary hang-em-and-flog-em claptrap he read in the Daily Mail

I think we're already quite separate as this site uses too many long words for the illiterate twatflogs from TVF to understand.

ISTR a debate a while ago on here whether or not we could discuss TV presentation on this board as well?

I think the situation is fine as it is at the moment.

I don't post around here much but I do enjoy reading the threads. To be honest I don't really think of this place as being part of TVF anymore seeing as a good few members have lost interest in TV pres.

I'll admit I was a sceptic when this place first came along but the "calmer" moderation is so much better than it was 3 years back.

How absolutely terrible!

Next thing you'll be telling us is that you posted for the first year here under an assumed name, so nobody would know you were supporting us.

People like that should be hung, drawn and quartered!

What a fab word!

I've never heard it before. Have you made it up or is it in common currency round your way?
