Hotmail isn't down anymore so I guess that's it

Ever since I got a new computer I couldn't access my hotmail account. Whenever I access it through MSN Messenger or in another related way the following would happen:

1. White screen
2. 'Loading up' toolbar would appear
3. When loading completes the clicking sound would occur.

And the cycle would repeat itself. Some windows would originally appear telling me about leaving a secure internet connection ( this is OK because it always appears) but I removed them. I've also discovered that clicking on the refresh button would make a page appear telling me to sign in again but sadly the three steps follow.

I don't know why this happens because my sister says her hotmail is ok and it must be my computer because I can access my emails at college.
Can anyone please find a solution?

So Hotmail isn't down, then, it's your computer.

Is north west west Kent very much to the north west of Kent?

If it's my computer than it's a Gateway, Windows XP that has multi user accounts. Like I mentioned earlier, my sister said her hotmail is ok but I'm unclear why my account doesn't allow this. I have McAfee installed as well so it's quite unlikely that either I'm being spammed or that there's a bug on my account.

And North West West Kent is my location which is pinpointed as the north west most area of (official) Kent. But trust me, it's not that great living there.

have you tried deleting your temporary internet files and cookies?

Sometimes ad blockers prevent access to email (well it did with Windows Live Mail).

Dr Lobster, thank you very much. After twiddling around with the cookies, I've got my hotmail working. I've tweaked with internet cookies before but not with my hotmail so here's thanks for reminding me :) .
