No me neither. I'm bored!

Doing another boring Spag bol for dinner that will keep me occupied for all of about 30-40 mins. All the housework is done, my blokes at work and my mates are on holiday ( how bloody inconsiderate).

Currently trying to decide if Big cats on BBC2 is more intersting than the Simpsons on Sky one..

Wotcha all doing?

I'm considering spamming Metropol with aload of random old bollox. Could be fun hehe

I'm "anxiously" waiting for The Story of Light Entertainment at 9.10, I believe, on BBC Two. Although knowing me, I'll probably forget and stay on here...

Saturday night is my usual night in, I lie about from getting in after work at about 7pm, watch some DVD or something on the telly, stick the radio on and have a long hot bath... gorgeous.

Oh and I forgot to put the Lotto on, but I didn't have any numbers on either line anyway nor on Dream Number so £3 saved.

just been down the pub for the first time in weeks on a saturday night... what can i say - i've confirmed to myself why i don't go anymore... too hot... too busy, too loud and it took twenty minutes to get served.

now, don't get me wrong, i like going down the pub with my friends, but not when you can't hear yourself think.

perhaps i'm just getting old.

and isn't funny that however frequently/infrequently you go out, you always see the same morons out? i mean, don't they actually have anything else to do/spend their money on that sitting in a pub?

i think it's down to the fact that you and i have hobbies and stuff we like doing - you spend your money on yer video equipment and stuff, i spend my money on computers, software development tools, my house, etc etc, i guess these people just don't have any hobbies or interests - sitting down the pub thursday, friday, saturday night *is* their hobby.

i'll be honest, in my younger years, i went out a lot, but you kind of grow up and move on and settle down.

some of the people i saw out this evening, i've seen as regulars about town when i first started going out ten years ago.

In my youth, I used to go out drinking on a Saturday night.

After a while it moved to Fridays instead, then to Thursdays.

I now go out drinking on a Monday night. Proves a lot, methinks!

Ha! My night outs recently shifted back to Wednesdays, which further proves the point!

Hmm.. Wednesdays is when i tend to meet up for a drink and usually dinner with my girl friends.
I used to be out every weekend in my Yoof, but these days i don't like the atmosphere of Friday or Saturday nights out on the town. I normally have loads to do at the weekend but last night was an exception. Next week there is a music festival around here. Might try and get some tickets for one of the days i couldn't possibly kip in a tent for a weekend when i live a few miles down the road.

Ho hum...
Nothing that exciting happens in Folkestone on a Saturday night, instead the bloke came home from work and kept me busy cooking, warming his slippers and trimming his nasal hair and massaging his feet. Hehehe... Not really, i had a couple more glasses of wine and a joint and fell asleep in the recliner.

Just for interest last Friday I went to Scotland to go to a wedding on the Saturday after. I had a great time, drunk a lot and danced a lot that night straight until 1am. But now I think of this as a one-off. In the good old days there was something exciting to do on a Saturday and everyone would be in the mood but nowadays it's different to what we experience currently.
