He's only gone and done it and in only 10hours too. He should be so proud of himself. The channel is horrible, there are lots of beasties, sewerage, ferries and tugboats and strong currents Euugh!! I've sent a number of texts to radio 1 today. Don't know how much has been raised yet but i hope the target is reached.

I wonder if vegetarians have ever done the cross channel swim before? How would they feel about being smothered with goose grease before the swim or is there a vege alternative?
