I'm relatively new to the world of owning a laptop and the time has come to clean the screen from little marks that have accumulated over the past 2 months.
What is the best way to clean the screen on a laptop?
I tried using a cameara lens cloth, but didn't have much luck...

get some ixos anti-static screen cleaing gel spray from pc world. brings your screen up as good as new - it's about £5 - you get the lint free cleaning cloths with it.

I get a bit of kitchen roll, dampen it under the warm tap and give the screen a going over (in fact, I did just that about an hour ago). Probably against all the rules but it's pretty effective for me.

I use those storex screen wipes from WHS.
I don't have to use them often though as I banned my brothers from approaching my LCD after they managed to put a massive scratch in the second one I got to replace the first one with the dead pixel. Naturally I sent it back and got another new one. fab fab fab.

A
top tip for laptops is get a can of compressed air from Maplin or PC world and clear out the air vents and give the fan a good blow (HE HE HE) you would be supprised how quickly dust collects there and the diffrecne it can make. If you keep on top of it you will not have as many problems further down the line.[/b]
