Are London Buses Too Hot?

I really need to know. I'm going to be there for the rest of the week, and I'm struggling to know what garments to pack.
Naturally I have my owl sweater, but should I bother with a bobble hat?
Thoughts, please. Or indeed, invitations for drinks tomorrow night.

London busses can get very hot, although I've not used one for a while, I'm more of a tube man. They seem to have quite a lot of new busses now, so they might be air conditioned.
The underground is stifling though, make sure you have a bottle of water!

Seriously, that really is not funny. You obviously weren't in London on July 7th last year.
I heard an 8 year old kid tell a similar "joke" not so long ago.
Kids can kind of get away with it, they don't understand.
