I saw this in Berwick today, and thought it was rather sad. The light up panels for the posters had a thank you message from the staff on them.

Also, Morrisons (you know, them who ruined the amazing berwick branch of safeways, the one with the LCD shelf edging and massive swooping deli of fabness) have revamped the cafe. And it's rather fancy...

The food is back to the old standard and everything is rather posh with a coffee machine that uses coffee beans and big posh mugs for the tea (although the teapot is the right size for two mugs, the water machine doesn't fill it all the way to the top, although I suspect that's teething problems)

But did the 2nd make you go aww? I went yay, which is like aww, yesterday because I had lunch with the News 24 countdown...

I've just realised the similarity between the Hanson website the the Conservative one!

My previous comment was based on the fact that William Hanson LOOKS and SOUNDS like David Cameron... only with blondish hair.

Producers say they hope to include as many members of Hanson Inc. The series will contain two programmes: ‘The way we live now’ and ‘The people we live with’. They can obviously afford to push the boundaries of literacy.

I think it initially meant the former, but has grown with time (and a slight digression on my part) to encompass both definitions.

I think this has become one of those interesting threads which generally allows us to pass comment on wry bits of the internet and society.
