Thunder bolt and lightning..

Very,very frightening indeed...
Well not quite but the recent weather round this neck of the woods has been rather grim lately. So far in the southeast, this has been the wettest drought i've ever seen. The rivers in the area are full, a lake on a friend of mines land is close to overflowing but the reservoirs are low.
Hmm!! Southern water publicy say it's not burst pipes but this is same water board that told us they were not draining our rivers when the channel tunnel was being built. Strange then that when the tunnel was completed the river levels rose quite quickly.
Word round the campfire says that southern water knows what the problem is and the problem they're having is locating the burst pipes which seriously need upgrading.
Unbelievable they're thinking of making us use standpipes because of something that looks convincingly like the water boards incompetance.
That's my whinge for the day over with.
