I would suggest that, for your sordid leek stories, you set up another dedicated thread. I'm not a fan of generic vegetable threads on the whole, it's hard word wading through just to find out about onions.

Well that's no good at all. Having taken a half-day from work I now won't be able to discuss my dinner menu with the man who drives me home.
I have broccoli, but nothing yet to go with it. I was rather hoping we could discuss it here.
