Pointless starting of topics is one of Metropol's charms, Jamez.

They often develop into strange streams of consciousness.

Seems like all the doors are being slammed in Jamezie's face on here lately doesn't it.

and he only has himself to blame.

I'll step up here and be nice. Give him a minute! He (probably) just needs to find the right balance between locking and deleting and nothing at all - I daresay one of us suddenly thrust into a mod role would have similar problems.

That's fair, but your perspective would surely change when you go from ordinary user to "the other side" like that. Time will surely tell!

i think most people understand that moderating is a fine balance, but i fear that isn't the problem.

the problem is that he doesn't seem to have any principles. on one hand he attacks asa for supressing free speech, the next he censors and locks threads.

in one thread he attacks me for calling somebody with learning difficulties mental, then proceeds to do the same thing just days later.

Ok, then I'll resort to my fallback position...

Maybe he's a mental?
