The Really Quite Unusual Screengrabs Thread

We've had threads in the past where we've shown off screengrabs of our Windows/Mac OS X/Linux/UNIX desktops,
and I might start a new one of these later. But this thread is for unusual computer screengrabs. Not necessarily of
operating system desktops, but weird computers configurations, strange borked up browsers and the like.

Here's a few quick screengrabs to demonstrate what the heck I'm blabbering on about

Browser, within a browser, within a browser, within a browser, within a browser . . .

This was acheived by typing the chrome URL chrome//navigator/content/navigator.xul into the Mozilla Suite.

Internet Explorer 6.0 running Windows Update ... on Linux?

How about this . . .

Image

Microsoft Windows 95a with "Bliss" the default desktop wallpaper from Microsoft Windows XP, running
within Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, upon Microsoft Windows Server 2003, with the Royale Theme for XP.

Or how about this instead . . .

Image

Microsoft Windows NT4 with "Bliss" the default desktop wallpaper from Microsoft Windows XP, running
within Microsoft Virtual PC 2004, upon Microsoft Windows Server 2003, with the Royale Theme for XP.

I'm rather amazed that this experiment worked . . .

Image

That's Windows Server 2003, running within the Remote Desktop Connection application, upon
the installation of Windows NT 4.0 running within Virtual PC 2004, upon the same installation
of Windows Server 2003, that's running with the Remote Desktop Connection application!

Same combination as above, but with higher screen resolutions . . .

OK folks ... over to you . . . !

I can't claim personal credit for these, but that most excellent site, The Graphical User Interface callery has a few interesting screenshots:

Firstly, Windows XP running accessories from Windows 1:

Next up, Windows 95 running at 320x200 resolution:

Windows 95 in 1-bit monochrome (that's literally just black and white, no greyscales)

Windows 3.1 with an XP-ish theme

Windows 1.0 with an XP-ish colour scheme
