I've just realised that all my posts take up nearly 5% of the total posts on this site, and I'm the fourth highest poster.
And theres me thinking it's all you lot without a life...

To be honest, posting on here for me is both force of habit and a source of entertainment.
I love the characters on this site, everyone here is different and offers something unique. It's surprising how much of someones personality comes through on the Internet, even if it is just premeditated typed words on a screen!

So is Dr Jamez going to give an analysis of us all then?

It's mostly entertainment value for me too I'd say.

I haven't been posting on here for long, but I find many of the comments very amusing. And it's nice to see pics of some of the people from TV Forum. Always nice to put a face to a name

Indeed, one of the reasons I'm surprised I'm so high up among top posters!
I joined forces with two other music promotion groups and we combined our different experties, which is a lot better than competing against eachother.
Now that I'm living most of the time in London I can sit back and let the others get on with it. I have been able to have much more time to myself, whereas before my life revolved around my website, here, TVF etc.
Other situations in life have changed too, shifting my focus to other areas, priorities and responsibilities.
Although those on Myspace might see more of me on there quite a bit. But I won't post a link under fear of being accused of self-promotion, something I'm glad to have lost since winding down rtsnet!

it is strange how things change and how much time we all spend on these forums... i'm the 2nd most prolific poster on metropol and i don't think i spend all that much time on here. in the last year i've moved out from my parents and brought a house with my girlfriend.
i guess it's because i use a computer most of the time in what i do and when i want a bit of light relief metropol is one of the half-dozen or so sites i check once or twice a day.
like most people i'm off all over christmas and i've been developing a couple of bits of software which will be a real money spinner when it's finished and i will soon be able to leave my full time day job to do this full time.
but it's nice to see mr rts posting again, anyway!

Your very right at how strange it is how much time we spend on such forums. But if your at a computer and have five minutes to drift off, it's places like here I retreat to...
Keep us all up to date on the software front Dr Lobster, and thanks for the kind words!
