They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

What a nice thought Mr H. Technically, we're not too late as Remembrance Sunday is tomorrow.

Unlike some UK Broadcasters who have ignored the 1100 two minutes silence today.

Well, that's kind of the point of 2 minutes' silence, isn't it?

Because the people responsible for starting the later ones are still alive and would rather you didn't think too hard about it.

Possibly because it was *so* pointless. Hitler could have won whereas the Great War was stalemate for years for no reason whatsoever. It was a needless, pointless war that didn't even have a sensible reason for starting.

As you can see from my thread on TVF - I did a quick scan through on Freeview to see what each of the broadcasters did and was back for the Last Post.

I don't know, black men's hands shouldn't just get up by themselves and destroy popular Scottish rock groups you know! People were bound to be upset!
