What winter weather predictions have you been forecast

Honestly, i've been told about 10 times today that we are going to have a really bad winter. We are due snow in November and December and it's going to be the worst winter we've had in years. Goodness knows how we'll cope round this neck of the woods if that's true, 1/2" of snowfall and Dover gets cut off  How people in Scotland and Wales cope i'll never know.
Have i missed something, or have i just been overwhelmed with the Mystic Megs of the weather forecasting kind today?

Have any of you been predicted November, December or Januarys weather yet? Or, do you have your own theories on how to predict the weather.

I have a new one after today. If it's sunny on Jamez' Birthday i'll be told numerous times we're in for a harsh winter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMEZ !!! XXXXX

You can blame the Met Office. They have issued the winter forecast...

hehehe, thank you Lorna! :D

On the subject of weather, I don't believe any of it. We were told that last winter was going to be colder than an eskimos arsehole, and yet it was rather mild! I was living in the hills at the time, and only once or twice did we have snow, and on those occasions it had melted by the next day.

I hope it does snow this winter, but Cardiff isn't known for being snowed under, so there's not going to be any excuses for not going to work if it did snow! :(

I think we should take this moment to consider how Jamez has now joined marksi and gav as the only straight member of an elite club of members...

I was told dry and bitterly cold as a result.

Seconded.

And if we've got as far as the eleventh, the twenty-fifth can't be far behind.

Yours is on the 25th, eh Nick?

How many years will you have notched up this year? :D
