Firstly I feel the need to correct you. The "Solo" card is NOT a credit card, only a semi debit card with certain strings attached to it (i.e. you are not allowed to draw out more than you have in your account - i.e. cannot get overdrawn). You're under 18 and legally nobody under that age can get any form of credit - i.e. a card, loans or buy stuff on hire purchase (hp).

If you want to see if the internet takes your Solo card, then try sticking it into your modem socket. If it goes in, then the internet will be able to take your card.

My Visa gold card is accepted everywhere so i use that.

What are you doing with a credit card at 13 anyway?

Does your dad know that you've been in his wallet, and are now trying to access granny porn subscription sites?

Well excuse me! If it wasn't for Chris i'd be none the wiser that a Solo 'credit card' was infact a Debit card.

I used to have a Livecash account, didn't really use it, not much point. I use Righttrack/Study now. RightTrack ( 16-18 ) works anywhere that accepts Solo. The accounts aren't hugely different.

Don't any of you let your bank palm you off with an Electron (the 'Visa verified' version of Solo). It's shite.

I have one for my savings account and can't use it for internet purchases, or indeed to pay for a hotel in London. Hugely embarassing when I didn't have an alternative with me.

I thought they got rid of Livecash ages ago... I remember ripping down the old Livecash posters in my Midland Bank school branch days.
