Waste of money IMO. You have an iPod mini - why is that not good enough for you? I assume it works and does its job of serving its purpose as a music player, doesn't it, so why bother wasting money on the newest fad?

It looks like Apple will be travelling a rocky road over the coming weeks with the name of their new product. Creative - Apple's arch-nemesis in the world of portable media players - announced the Zen Nano several months ago, and they're preparing a major lawsuit against Apple for blatant passing-off and copyright infringement in choosing to name their new player iPod nano.

Robbing bastards. IPod Mini 4gb is £139.99, then iPod Nano 2gb is the same price. Lose half the capacity, pay the same price! Pillocks. What's so special about the nano apart from being even smaller?

Which is pointless anyway.
I don't know about you, buy my iPod's normally in my pocket while I'm using it, and I don't really want to look at pictures on a piddelly little screen. I'd rather either see them in full-res or print them off and see them properly.

I thought pretty much the same thing, although with somewhat less colourful language, especially since
the 4GB iPod nano costs £10 more than the 6Gb iPod mini did. But I'm told the higher prices are due
to flash memory costing more to produce, and more for Apple to buy than the miniature HDD's.
Well, that's as maybe, but it's still a bit of a lame excuse for offering less then charging more!
To be honest, it would've been a bit better if the iPod nano replaced the iPod Shuffle instead.

Quite honestly, 4Gb or 6Gb: both are unfathomably large for nearly all users.
Like most people (I assume) I have a 'soundtrack' to my life, mostly served by my imagination and memory. Having travelled by plane, train and tram mostly alone over the weekend I can truly say I am ready for an MP3 player.
The iPod Nano is delicious, but I don't think I want to spend that type of money.
My new work Nokia phone came with stereo headphones, and takes a flash memory card. Ebuyer are showing 512Mb for about £17. A USB cable is around a tenner so it seems I should be good to go for 30 quid. If I travel long enough to hear all 512Mb in the near future, I'd be surprised. Besides, I can change my selection depending on my 'personal soundtrack' at any time.
That makes me cheap and nasty, doesn't it?

Cheap, yes. Nasty? Nah! You're far too fab to be nasty - unless it's to bailiffs (whom we had a letter from for someone that doesn't live here any more, woo!) or evil neighbours.
