Wow, I had no idea the ASDA song had actual words in it.

Aye -

#that's Asda price# - #bum slap#

Fits right in.

And as an aside - how good is Hattie's facial expressions in this ad.

Broke my heart when she passed away - honestly.

That may be because the Wal*Mart logo is no more:

Perhaps, but that logo has not been used at all in the UK to my knowledge...
I've never known them to use a red X with the word 'Image' before either.

...Am I missing something here?

you can't embed an SVG image in a webpage using an image tag, that's the issue.

but because I'm so superduper nice, it's fixed.

I had to argue with myself to go back to Safari when Chrome came out. But I stuck with it, but still use Chrome on the odd occasion when I have no Internet via Safari, but do on every other browser.

I was wondering how it came to be that Metropol fell out of love with Morrisons. Morrisons chatter is what this place has been sadly lacking.

Well for the record, I still go most weeks. Nothing like a walk up Market Street to sample the fine produce.

Incidentally, the cafe menu is a load of old shit isn't it ? Liver, sausage and chips, scampi ? Do they ever change that menu ?

The cafe menu is amazing!!! Morrisons' Famous Big Breakfast... yum! Except I swap the mushrooms for an extra hash brown - always makes me smile how they have a little chart behind the till stating what items can be swapped for what.

I now work just around the corner from my local Morrisons, it's a treat being able to nip in on my way home. I think, however, the reason why we don't seem to discuss them much is not so much that we have fallen out of love with them, it's just that they seem a lot more competent these days and therefore a little less fab.
