George Best: hero or cunt?

George Best is in the news again, this time for the alleged sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13. Last week he was accused of punching a 34 year old women in the neck.
Over the last few years he's reported to have abused his ex-wife Alex Best and drunk excessively after his liver transplant.
So is he a football hero or is he a cunt who needs to be put down and have his organs donated to more worthy candidates?

What I want to know is who the bloody hell is serving him alcohol?
Surely there cannot be a person in this country who isn't aware that he's an alcoholic, and that drinking can and probably will kill him.
I find it amazing that one of his most recent drinking binges was at his local... do the bar staff there have no moral conviction whatsoever?

His local (while he lived here) was my local... though that was in a more "settled" period when was generally not drinking.

Ever since he had that Liver transplant a couple of years ago, I think the man is a cunt. Simple, he had a 2nd chance at life after some rather bad years from being an alcoholic, and what does he do, he starts again.
Quite disgraceful really, that's why I think he's a cunt.

Such a shame that the donor kidney couldn't have gone to a better home. I hope the family of whoever donated it don't know that it's been wasted in this way. The way he's behaved is rather akin to pissing on the donor's grave.

Complete & total c*** there are others out there desperate for a Liver Transplant, who's own is failing not due to alcoholic poisoning but other various diseases.
The man is a complete disgrace & the sooner we hear less of him the better!
