TV Forum... the average user age?

I've never really dug about on the TV forum, I've had a gander at the mocks and any topics that took my fancy, but I've been reading the "BBC Strike" threads with interest today.

I never realised how many tweenages were in there! So many 12, 13 and 14 year olds squealling about a two second black gap in continuty or ceefax and what music it's using. Sad. And then launching websites. Crap Websites.

Has it always been like this, or is it a slow decline, and what is the average age of a TV forum poster? I'm thinking 15, 16...

I, for one, now support the trash the troll campaign.

I have a feeling that the last time we did this calculation, back when The Lounge was part of TV Forum, even including myself and the ancient Malcy B, we came up with an average in the low twenties.

Most people I come across on these pres forums I'd say are in their early twenties, but most people think i'm in my thirties, which must be a good thing

perhaps we ought to calculate an average mental age. while there are many who are no doubt struggling to learn how to hold a knife and fork, luxxie, with his victorian sensibilities probably balances it out.

I'm 15. I try to sound as mature as possible, hardly ever works, but dejay20498095 or whatever in the strike thread pissed me off with him "waiting for the next bbc strike!!!" poor little boy. Probably over-tired, knowing him. Which i don't thankfully

Yes not forgetting Mike G too.

I remember that was done in the summer of 2002, and the average age was nearly 21.

I'm certain this has halved in the last three years.

It's funny because it's true.

You know, a big handsome shaved head geezer announced in the pub on Friday, "I'd shag ye if a wiz gay". Quite unexpected I have to say, especially as it was in front of colleagues and friends.

It's always slightly disturbing when your fat friends say that to you, I find...
