I need to burn files using Nero Burning ROM onto a DVD+R DL disc using an NEC DVD_RW ND-3500 AG DVD Burner. I cannot burn the disc for some reason.
Can someone help me?

My PC actually reads it as a CD-R disc, and therefore tells me I can't burn the files onto that disc!
I have checked the NEC site and looked for my re-writer and it supports those discs!

you could try using a different brand of disk, and ensure your drive has the latest firmware installed
also try deleting the drive out of device manager, uninstall the drivers and let windows pick it up again, prompting a reinstall of the drivers used by he drive(sometimes that helps)
other than that, i would give NEC tech support a call because it seems like the drive is probably faulty.

My uncle says that my version of Nero doesn't suppurt DL discs, but why are errors appearing on the drive? Oh well.
Thanks anyway Dr. Lobster, you've been a great help

I've now realised that there was an update for Nero. It was now worked but there is now an error trying to burn the actual files onto a disc.
I'll leave that to my uncle!
