I will soon be buying myself an Mac Mini and I want to link it up with my PC speakers. Now, my pc speakers run of a Sub which takes the input signal from my PC and spits it into 2 red/black phones to output to my speakers.

My question is, If i put one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 78077&rd=1 onto the Line in on my Sub, will I be able to plug 2 sources into it, and then get noise from both my PC and Mac (probably not at the same time!)?

Is this possible, or is that adaptor simply for Output to 2, rather than Input for 2.

yeah that will work as expected and it shouldn't matter if you use it for an input/output.

for the price, you might as well give it ago, if not, you can buy the individule parts and make your own
