Does anyone know the ranges of dummy phone UK numbers set aside for use in productions, films, TV etc?
I've tried Googling but all I get is crap and no useful information.
Thanks.

As an aside to this, has anyone else noticed that some computer systems have become cleverer and stopped accepting 01632 numbers when you register?
As I'm ex-directory, I've always put 01632 960960 in the telephone number field when it INSISTS on numeric input and won't simply accept "ex-directory".
Of late, I've noticed that's no longer possible with many systems, so I'm reduced to using 0117 496 0960, which still seems to work for the moment.

Go on then, Phil, tell us.
Apart from it being in Bloomsbury, I haven't a clue.
