Here's an idea that's as good as a community signature where you put your name underneath the name for a bit of reasonless fun.

My PM inbox is currently 97% full. There are three pages of private messages I have collected from you lovely people since Monday 20 October 2003 at 7:24pm.

Here's the science bit: out of 58 messages, 35 were sent by Corin. My favourite PM title from him is "How was the turkey and pumpkin pie?", closely followed by "Pythons".

Other people who have the honour of not being deleted from my inbox (this is due to a cross between laziness and hoarding) are: rts, Hymagumba, Martin, Barrett (who sent the brilliantly entitled "I dunno who Lee Stanley is, Well who is he?"), Katherine ("You get better and better" - I completely agree), James Martin and Isonstine.

Now here's the... fun... bit: I have just deleted all those precious memories. My inbox is 0% full.

As an experiment, I would like you all to send me a PM of anything you feel you would like to send me. The aim is to see:

a) whether anybody has read this thread and gives a toss
b) how long it takes to fill up an inbox
c) who is cool around this forum and takes part (anyone who doesn't isn't very cool and will be a failure for the rest of their lives)
d) who sends the wittiest or most interesting PM

I will publish the results of my findings at a later time to be decided, with a summary of who has participated and what I have found. I may even award prizes.

Please humour me and take part.

That is partially why I am launching this campaign. To feel popular. And do I see a message from my fellow PM-lonely colleague Jamez? No.

This simply is not good enough. Thank you to those who have participated in this FUN - they are intelligent, well-rounded individuals who have a lot to offer to society. My inbox is not full, and unless someone's been reading this thread 103 times, people are deciding NOT to join in.

Even Sir Nick of Harvey has participated - THAT is the standard of membership you are aiming for.

Get PMing people - anything you feel I should know, let me know. So far, I've been sent pictures of a particular person who likes Grange Hill, been told I'm loved and given advice about snow.

I am apparently a slag;
babyben has PMed me to say that he won't PM me;
Hymagumba has a headache.

I'm now going to watch Paul O'Grady because Deirdre is on.

I want at least FIVE messages during Paul O'Grady, OR the bunny gets it.

Hey ho. In the latest batch of messages, I have found that:

- one of our much loved members is secretly gay;
- somebody has attempted to claim compensation from his school for breaking a wrist;
- someone from our UTV contingent's mother's photos were buggered up by Boots...

...and I've been reminded of the legend that was Ryan Pannell.
