I had heard loads about this, but only saw it tonight on download.

I have never been as shit-scared in my life. It is the dramatisation of a nuclear attack on Britain (primarily Sheffield, my uni city) and the 15-or-so years that follow it.

F**king hell, the final scene just tops it off.

Has anyone else seen it? If so, what did you think.

PS. If anyone has BitTorrent, I want to spread this movie as far and wide as possible - I have never been as scared in my life.

I shall search for it with all my might. I have to say I'm torn between joy and fear, for Sheffield being destroyed could never be a bad thing - with the exception of its FAB shopping centre. Time will tell.

I'm searching for it on Shareazza, but so far haven't found it...

I searched for "threads bbc" and got those results within 5 minutes.

I downloaded Threads a few weeks back - and it's as chilling now as when it was first broadcast.

As already said, the final few scenes are disturbing, especially when she gives birth to 'something'.

Well worth the wait for the download. If you search for 'Threads' on the eDonkey network (using Shareazea or your favourite P2P client), hunt for the 700MB all in one avi file. The quality is more than acceptable.

Haven't seen Threads for ages - saw it on video at school. Really terrifying and excellently made.

I saw it when it was shown on UKTV Documentary last year and it was very good, though I didn't find it scary, but it certainately made me think more about the consequences of a Nuclear war and the affects that it could have. I mean you see all the stuff in the programme, such as panic buying and people congesting the roads to get out into the countryside, think what that would be like in 2005!

After the war is the most scary, where all the people eat things like dead rats and about five kids at a school watching this dodgy old video tape about something.

If you also notice there is a young Zak Dingle in it too, who plays one of the workers for the government, who are underground whilst the bombs strike.
