I don't really know what to make of you lot, and I haven't a clue what you think of me. I'll just keep posting random crap and maybe one day I'll make a new friend that will blossom into something wonderful and magical.

And if not, well I'll continue to post random crap. :)

I have met two people from TVF/MP247.

The lovely, beautiful, intelligent and ever-so-slightly-strange chinajan, who has become one of the closest friends in my life - what a woman, in every way.

And the fantastic MrTomServo - he stayed at my pad for two nights last year. Although, personality-wise we are not matched that well, he is a funny, intelligent and sensitive guy and if he ever comes to Newcastle again, he'd be more than welcome.

As to whom I would like to meet, and apologies for those I have left out, they would be as follows -

Jamez - I just get the feeling he is my long-lost brother and we would get on very well,
RTS aka Row - again, I think we're quite similar but he is a more laid-back version of me,
Martin = the head honcho, numero uno, big cheese, top cahunas of MP247, who, from an initial dislike, I have grown to like and admire greatly,
Gavin Scott - intelligent, funny, provocative, what's not to like about this guy?,
Sput(ty) - head of the resistance,
Snu - the only gay in the forum,
bartstope/eddie gallagher - I like this guy's warped sense of humour,
BBC LDN - to see if he's as funny and abrasive face-to-face as online,
Isonstine - for being gorgeous,
Jenny - a fine-looking if apparently screwed-up woman (in common with 52% of the population ;) ),
Brad - Mr Motivation and Mr Resistance, what a strong person...

...the list could go on. I like the vast majority of people of MP247, and this list could've gone on for ages.

I find Metropol and TVF extremely odd in that I am an amazing cynic when it comes to the internet - yet, despite that, it's the only place/s where the members here seem like "mates". I have absolutely no idea why it's like that but it just is. That's what TV presentation does to you.

I'm also intrigued how I've come to admire most of the people round here through what they write.

Just to take one example off the top of my head (though there are many), RTS. I know saying this will make him self-combust in egotistical excitement, but hey - I used to think he was a bit of a nutter. But then I realised he's a decent bloke. As are the vast majority here.

There you go - me being sentimental! Goodness.

Oh I *love* the "must make plans to meet people but somehow they always fall through" threads! Here's my list

Mrtomservo - Hopefully I'm seeing him in his native habitat! Forest fires permitting :) Sounds like a top guy

Johnnyboy - You put me on your list, it's only polite ;) You're after mrtoms in this merely because you're in Newcastle. I have an irrational hatrid of Newcastle despite having never visited.

Jamez - He will teach me how to be cool and how to get girls to like me ;)

Isonstine - I have the utmost faith this man gives great head and we can go and see *FAB* things together.

James Martin - Just to see if he's real.

RTS - Will this man melt when placed near a candle? There's only one way to find out!

I am the same, DAS.

I first came to TVF in Jan 2002, I think, so I have been here for three years now.

Life has dealt me some fantastic and devastating blows in the last three years - I have certainly not been short of, for want of a better word, 'excitement'. From shagging around left, right, and centre, to being chased by thugs for money, from the dizzy heights of mega-earnings and the joy of friendships to the despairing lows of poverty and missing a relationship, TVF/MP247 have been somewhat of a constant in my life.

Remember the TVF chatroom? Remember the #hash chatroom? Remember the temporary closure of the Lounge to the permanent replacement in MP247? And who can forget the 'How fast does your toilet flush' thread that crashed TVF?

Sometimes I am very active in our community, other times I go quiet for months. But I always know I am welcome here (even if I do sound like an arrogant prick from time to time), and I do appreciate that. Nowhere near as much as I appreciate the real-world friends in my life, but I still wouldn't be without it.

Coming home to TVF and MP247 is like coming home to Mother, sometimes.

Awwww jb, you are no doubt a shining beacon in the desert of society that is Newcastle, but if you do ever leave have comfort that I will use you to try and melt Rod's face!
