Networking !

Ok this is complicated so bear with me.
I have a simple ADSL router/modem with my two main PC's connect two and both get the internet and share files. This works well and is fine.
However. I've now introduced a third computer, which does and cannot have a standard (Rj45) network. So I use firewire between it and my main PC. This works and files can be shared between the two.
However I'd like to get the net onto this third PC via my main PC which gets it's net from the router.
Is it possible and if so how to go Router > PC > Laptop and not connect the laptop (the 3rd pc) to the router? Any ideas, suggestions are welcome.

You've probably already considered this... what about Wireless networking?

Ah I forgot to mention, it's chirstmas and I'm very poor and refuse to buy a network lead which, would quite simply solve my problem. No firewire it must be.

I'm confused. It cannot have an RJ45 Network or whatever you said. It confuses me as to why because it's the case of buying a simple #5 card from Dabs.com (if it's still on their) and plugging it in your PCI slot. If the PC is soo small that it doesn't have room for expansion then it WILL have the RJ45 plug because it will be one of those tiny terminal station things.
Personally I would make the expense of buying the extra 2 bits (Card & Wire) because it will work out easier on your PC's in the long run. Connecting it to your Hub/Router directly will ease the flow through the PC connected to the router as it won't be transporting data for 2 PC's.
A useful & Cheap place for network wiring and other useful bits is
http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk. Infact you can get both bits off there.
Edit: I just re-read that and I see you have a laptop, most laptops come with an RJ45 port. If it's doesn't then you can get converters which will convert a USB port to an RJ45 connection. If it doesn't have a USB port then it's cheap, a gay and probably old and not worth bothering. (Providing details of your laptop could have helped more)

lol.
Details of the laptop wouldn’t me needed, but as you said, it does not have a network port/connection/thing. Because it's far to thin, it's got one USB which I tend to use for my mouse, hence wanting to use fire wire. I've got a usb to lan adapter which I have used but it's rather annoying having to use the track pad.
So it still doesn’t solve my problem of sharing a net connection over fire wire, which would be ideal if possible.

Em Details would be useful because I could have looked at what you have and what your options were by doing a simple search on google. i.e network laptop200xi
I didn't say It didn't have any of those things - you did.
A USB Hub?
I also presume you have searched google for such things. From idle speculation and in XP I presume you have tried to share your LAN connection on the PC. You say you can transfer files then surely sharing the LAN connection in XP somehow with it's magic will let you get online. Although to be honest now I THINK about it you have 2 PC's and your connecting the Laptop through one... USE THE DAMN PC eh.

Yes indeed, well it's only a temp measure untill my wifi card and router arrive. I've got file and print sharing working on the both the laptop and PC over firewire. But as I've said I'd like to be able to share the connection onto the firewire, I've tried bridging the two connections, LAN and Fireview but its still not working.
