What is going to become of the world?

I went out last night down the pub sober (because i was driving) and it occured to me. the world i am going to grow old in scares me: the current youth culture has hobbies such as "m8's", "clubbin", "carz", "playstation", "alcohol", "me moby", they are the sort of parasitic social cancer that goes to ibiza every year, they are people whose only endeering feature is that one day they will die. they eat at "maccy d's" and drink themselves into oblivion every weekend. they have awful diction, they talk like a badly composed text message and constantly find themselves bored.
and is it just me, or is it getting worse?

Oi I work in Maccy'ds stop slaggin!
I'll agree with you, although I don't mind going out and getting totally hammered. I don't do it every weekend like my friends - I just don't get it.
If I do go out and don't get drunk you just see all the usual faces spewing, sleazing on people and falling over and talking crap. Really shows people in their true colours.
I just hope that one day I'll find someone special I can share life with (boi that sounds gay) and not go out on the pull every weekend when I'm hitting 40 for a one-nighter.

Perhpas the most depressing thing is seeing how many kids don't bother going to school, instead roaming around on streets and making a nuicance of themselves... and their parents are probably on drugs or whatever -- however, there is another endearing feature, which is that Britain will need construction workers, road clearers, etc -- and these poor excuses for humans will be able to do these jobs (in their spare time when they're not stealing money off other people)...
One question I often wonder is -- what will these people be like in their latter stages in life? i.e. at 40, 60, 80 (if they live that long -- hopefully not!)

Hmmm...
I dont know what to say, being the "youth" I suppose your refferring to. I do rink, but really only at house parties... I tend not to litter my vomit on teh pavements because it just isnt nice, and this whole "fuckwit" text message language is just a pain in the ass to read. Without sounding cocky, I consider myself to probably be a good part of the future... not a fucking chav...
