Has anyone else tried this open-source office application suite?
It's not quite as powerful as Microsoft Office 2003 but it's fully compatible with most major office suites, it also can export to PDF, it can view Photoshop's PSD files, it's very versatile... infact I've dumped Office 2000 totally for it.
Just wondered if anyone else liked it?
It's fantastic - and 100% free!

I have tried it, having endured a multi-session download over a 56k connection which times out after two hours to get it.
I haven't had chance to try it properly though, and I managed to crash it as well. Plus it didn't really faithfully reproduce an old Word file of mine which has pointy arrows in specific places, preferring instead to scrunch them all up.
I wish the toolbars were dockable though.

I downloaded it because we were required to evalutate it as part of an ICT module at uni. Nowhere near as powerful as Microsoft Office, but I don't think you can argue for something that's free. I do use it for it's PDF exporter though; being able to create PDF files is something I've wanted to do for years but I wouldn't create enough of them to justify buying Acrobat.
If I didn't allready have Office 2003 I could certainly live with Openoffice.org

I have a pirated copy of Office XP somewhere, but I might as well use something free and very easy to use.
