just wanted to know if any of my fellow forumers utilise a mechanism of fake suntanning, such as a machine or bottle based substance. i'm going for my first go on a machine today, for vanity reasons.

do you believe that a suntan makes you look healthier or more attractive etc etc?

what are your thoughts on the subject?

Well since a suntan is just burnt skin, with an increased risk of skin cancer as a result, I really don't consider people to look more healthy as a result of having one.

I keep getting visions of the average Sun reader going on holiday and coming back pink-faced. Moderation, people, Moderation!

There is a very good method to achieve a fake sun tan which doesn't invole fake suntan lotion. Go into the chemist and ask for Quinoderm cream. It's mainly used for acne, but if you mix a small amount with warm water and massage it into your skin before going to bed, you wake up with a tanned face which just looks like you have been in the sun. Much better than fake sun tan lotion.

It's probably best not to do this in the morning before work as it makes your skin look a bit red for a few hours

Just make sure no non-white cloth of any kind is involved at any point in the process, it will go pink on contact with that cream. Forever. In fact better not even try white, just sleep in the nude on some tinfoil :P

That reminds me of a weird posh wank I had a while ago involving electrodes. ;)

I have fair skin and it's aged well. However i love having a bit of colour.A sunbed every so often is ok and gives you a base tan and by adding some fake tan NOT to much is a great and healthy way of boosting your tan it's best to mix the fake tan with a little moisturiser .Another way of achieving a great colour is again to have a base tan by sunbed and use Terracota Male bronzing powder it gives a great glow especially if you have had a rough night on the tiles the night before as it is made for males there are no sparkly bits .
