I wasn't sure to put this in TV Forum requests or The Lounge but here goes. Is it possible to create your own ringtones, and if so how? I dreamt the other night of downloading old ITV idents, so that got me thinking if this was possible. (I think you can download Handel's Water Music if you want the old Anglia theme or Scotland the Brave if you want Grampian's 1960's theme.)

What kind of phone have you got? Have you tried downloading ringtone generating software from your manufacurer's website?
I just got one of these Nokia 3100 things:
I couldn't find ringtone software I didn't have to pay for (doh), and the frankly piss poor connectivity means I cant do anything without buying a cable.

Anyone made any midi ringtones that they are willing to share? A News 24 one would be awsome.

I can't find the midi at the moment but I'm rather bored so I've recorded a bit of it for you. Although I'm thinking of getting a new phone with MP3 technology so I can play the "REAL" countdown instead
Heres a lil mix of real and phone, its almost perefctly in time with the orignal. It's shortened as the real is 90seconds.
