Okay am probably being really dumb here - but just reinstalled Office and in Outlook I can't for the life of me find the option where the Preview Pane is on the right rather than below the e-mail list.

Where is it!? I may go mad here.

Yes, that would be logical - and now you mention it that's what I remember doing in the past.

But that option just isn't there... how bizarre.

Yep - in my view menu currently I have

Preview Pane and Auto Preview - but neither have any sub-options.

This is just driving me mad...

View - Layout - Show Preview Pane - Beside Messages.
