The Flotation of Google

Well, despite what you may think of Google floating on the NASDAQ stock exchange...I do love the fact that they're holding a dutch auction for their shares.

A stroke of genius. They should have put it on price-drop.tv though...Greg Scott would belt em out at a good price. Just imagine it...

"Now next here on price-drop.tv we have some Google shares for you. They come presented in a lovely leatherette box...now the guide price for these shares are $2,097 a share...and I only have 25.7 million of these in this drop...so make sure you get in quick!"

Highly amusing...but bless em!

Oh its great! I tried bidding a quid but my bid ended up in the red! The interesting thing about the Google IPO (and it says alot about dutch auctions) is that their stock is now, as a consequence well over priced!

Shows how auctions aren't always the road to major savings!!!
