Well, MrTom will certainly be happy. Needing a new computer for Uni, and being in America with a favourable exchange rate, I have taken the plunge and got myself a 15" Powerbook. At my cousins now using his internet connection.
All I have to say is, wow. It is a superb, fast, simple yet amazing piece of kit. Obviously I've still got to get fully used to the new system! But have no regrets at taking the plunge...
One thing I need to get used to is the one button for the mouse. Where I would normally right-click a link and then Save Target As, what is the procedure on a Mac?
Wow...
You can get a standard two button or three button mouse for that PowerBook. As long as it's USB, it'll work.

If you just want to download a file in Safari, hold down the Option key (aka alt) and click the link. This will download the file to your default download directory (often the Desktop)rts wrote:One thing I need to get used to is the one button for the mouse.
