Being a bit of a fan of the contest myself I'm curious what you do for the evening?
Do you watch with friends?
Go out and avoid the thing altogether?
Watch another channel?
Ever see who predicts the winner in your family?
..or do you just not care at all?

last year I spent EuroVision night in the TVF chatroom.
Talking of which - I think that would be an ideal night to have a chat night...

Well although its not linked to anywhere, the chatroom is still on the server:

If you want to use it on the big night.

Wouldn't that be a drain on your data transfer with all that refreshing?
I was thinking of maybe having it back in IRC as it's more flexable, might set it up myself if that's OK with you. Mind you there's a week to go so there's no hurry.

We need a chatroom back - that's where I was last year too.

Please do, feel free to.
Officially the data transfer has ran out long ago, according to my control panel, but it doesnt seem to affect the running of phpBB although I cant upload to the server obviously.

I'm thinking I'll be having friends round

The Ison household will be opening it's doors for the 4th annual Eurovision party. Previously the entertainment has been purely online for the last few years. It's done rather seriously - giving points for performance, song and lyrics. Or something similar to that. We then club together to predict a winner which we always get rediculously wrong. But it will be hilarious.
The semi-final which will be on BBC3 is going to be a purely online event however. The main Saturday programme is going to be a real get-together party along with the drinks ready for every time a random country gets 12 points. I would say we'd have a shot for each time the UK gets 12 points...but I don't think it'll be happening very often. Any suggestions? The more obscure the better...

I'll be having loads of friends round, with a Terry Wogan shrine adorning the top of the TV.
It's lovely to see Europe uniting isn't it?
Thanks,
Joel.

I almost had a heart attack sat in the pub last night, worried that it was all going on last night and I was missing it.
Just imagine missing both Eurovision and the Young musician of the year awards in just a matter of weeks - a nightmare, indeed.
I entered the young musician of the year once.
She's a lovely girl.

Managed to dig out a photo from last year:
Watched it with the family
Set it up using the projector, so proud/sad that I took a picture
