Some berk has managed to put a 'phone lock' on my phone, nothing to do with the sim. I have tried the default codes, 0000, 1234, 4444 to no avail.
Apart from slap my friend, does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get my phone functioning again?
Many thanks,

You may need to contact your network operator or if you brought it from a highstreet store, take it in. This happend to a friend of mine ages ago, and i think the phone had to be sent away!

Aaaaaaah fuck. The phone was bought a few weeks back up in Manchester, and I live dawn sarf. Are there no more secret codey things I could try? It's Sony Ericsson Z600.
O2 say is to do with the phone, and not them and their sim.

Ring the Operator and get a PUK code.

It has nothing to do with the sim - it's a lock on the phone itself. I rang the operator just incase but they confirmed my worst theories.
Thanks anyway though.

At this stage, I will try anything Adam.
Sadly your code did not work. Sorry.

This is Motorola?
123456 should do it. That was the default code for mine, anyway.
If that doesn't work try pushing Menu (I still assume you have Motorola!) and go to "Enter Master Code", then try entering various 6-digit obvious codes, such as 123456, 111111, 000000, 012345, etc.

It's a Sony Ericsson Z600 - And unfortunately non-of those codes worked

There isn't another cunning code or something I could try is there...?

Find a shifty looking bloke on a market, he'll unlock it for you for about £20. Or go on eBay and get a data cable for your phone, then search the net for a unlocking app (there are millions)
Good Luck,

Good Luck,
Is that just a polite way of saying I'm fucked, lol.
