If it does, it'll be to prove a point rather than to reopen election since the court will in likelihood take rather more than the 4ish months the MP will serve for before parliament is dissolved in March.

It is a loophole which seriously needs closing though.

It seems the Telegraph are the only ones making since, No one can state anything until after the scottish ref vote, because if Scotland leaves the Tories are going to win. Mind you the Guardain would make you think otherwise.

The people who comment on Conservative Home represent a tiny fraction of those who might consider voting Conservative. Of the overwhelming majority who don't frequent Conservative Home, for most the name on the ballot paper is a mere formality.
