Well the Lib Dems have managed to talk their way out of my vote by sending a total of about 8 campaign letters to all 4 occupants of the house (32 in total). God knows how much paper they're blowing on thier campaign but it's put me right off them

Meanwhile, in West Lancashire, a leaflet arrived from one David Braid, representing, and I quote: Clause 28, Children's Protection Christian Democrats. Basically, all the world's ills can be traced to homosexuality being mentioned in schools, and it's up to him to stop it.

Nothing unusual about that, of course, except that it is a word-for-word copy of the leaflet he distributed when he ran for West Lancashire in the 2005 election. I'm sure idleness is no virtue either...
