The article isn't very clear on the details, I'd presume at least there would remain the option to use hardware virtualization if it were available.

One of the lovely advantages of being a Computing Undergraduate is I get access to MSDN Academic Alliance, a Microsoft initiative designed to give Computing students "all the tools they need" to study (except Microsoft Office!). I installed Windows 7 Professional on my main machine back in January and the first thing I did when I received this lappy was shove the disk in again to get rid of Dell's crapware and the VASTLY INFERIOR Windows 7 Home Premium :P. I even got a new product key to keep Activation happy.

Of course, if they weren't giving it to me I wouldn't have paid.

talking of which my new dell is supposedly coming by the end of next week. I'm going to time how long first boot takes on the thing. When Mr Hyma got his new PC recently the amount of dell crapware made windows take several minutes to become useable, once he'd reformatted the whole thing it started in 20 seconds.

The dell dock and it's horrible clipart icons was the best part of their ugly software.

Actually I might make a video of it, an unboxing video one could say. My aim is to make one as good as this chaps:

My Dell Studio 1558 was delayed the day before the original estimated shipping date without any notice or explanation. They then dispatched it from China 6 days later, with the promise on the tracking page of delivery within 4 working days. 7 days later, it arrived.

It was much better when they built PCs in Ireland.
