Here's a nice little Tesco Express in Leeds, in the same style (shed with big windows at front) of new bigger Tesco stores.
And here's an interesting (Chinese?) looking one.

And here is a massive one in Dublin.

(Has that curved roof)

Yeah, Terminal 5.
Nothing ever comes off the conveyor belt. It's all been delivered to Amsterdam by mistake.

Still, that Tesco extra is 65,000 square feet according to that site which is quite a lot of space. Possibly the only reason there is a shopping centre attached is to not to be seen as abusing their dominance.

I believe most Tesco stores are now built with the structure already in place to add a mezzanine to them, but they wait a couple of years to see how well the store performs before spending the extra money on installation.
