Robert Dyas.

Anyone remember Ryan (Pointless) Pannell? That's where he worked.

I remember their rebranded it into a new green frontage a few years ago, but to just close it down and then move to a brand new shop seems strange.

Has all the old wikos disappeared yet?
The one within Hull's Prospect Shopping Centre still has the old logo.

But, more importantly, do they stock Milk? If so, is said milk available at a price contrary to the Hull milk cartel's guidelines?

The one in Stretford Mall (Manchester) hasn't been updated.

Although shenanigans involving an extension being built to the (far from full) centre and an Aldi moving into where Wilkinson's currently is means they've decided to close up rather than moving elsewhere in the mall, which is a nuisance (they're pretty handy).

Ha, thanks Mr Harvey - have never been far away, although genuinely alarmed to learn the fact I last said something two and a half years ago... not sure where that time went.

You know, I don't think I'd noticed that the Bank of Scotland logo was the same font as the Lloyds one. It can also be seen on the parent group's logo:

and also on some branches, like this one in Westfield Stratford, opened in September 2011:

I'll have to pop back and see how they're preparing for the rebrand - it's clearly imminent.

Those of you who received a booklet may have noticed the vaguely interesting fact that the new TSB will be using the Lloyds TSB Scotland banking licence.
