Oh are they famous? That explains why they allowed someone who can't talk, and who would chillaht on it.

One's an ex singer who earns millions from endorsements for Avon; the other is a washed up ex footballer who gets paid to sit in a chair on Sky Sports and mouth off. Plus his father's a bit of a dodgy character.

The latest eHarmony.co.uk advert looks like it's been made in Windows Movie Maker and the resolution is so bad. (Can't find it on YouTube, but it's been playing ad nausium on the ITV Ashes highlights.)

Also - "I'm morethan Freeman - thank you for listening". How cringeworthy is that?!

Ad Turds wrote:That impressionist wasn't as good as the guy doing the voice here, Josh Robert-Thompson, who appears at the end of the adverts, and is helping More Than further their "trust, honesty, strength, and protection".
Three letters befit this situation: LTR.

Cadbury Creme Egg - Lamppost dare. What was going through the creatives' minds?

The new Aviva advert is a bit....brutal; but does make its point.

Now that I do like. I found the 'twist' quite unusual with it being a celeb playing the main character.

I've just found Paul Whitehouse's personas in these Aviva adverts so consistently unlikeable that any attempt at pathos is lost in a sea of urgh.
...
Well said.

That's my problem with them too. Paul Whitehouse's characterisations all seem to lean towards the grotesque; which is fine in the Fast Show or Harry & Paul, but as an endlessly repeated insurance ad it becomes a total turn off.

I'm afraid he lost me at "green army".
